Frequently Asked Questions
When and where do I drop of my child on the day you leave for camp?
- Drop off your child at the regular drop off time, where you normally drop them off.
- No. Students are not allowed to have help bringing their luggage to the classroom, they must be able to carry their own luggage.
- Parents are not allowed on campus to say goodbye.
- Parents are welcome to wait in the bus loading area and see their students off.
- First make sure that you have included it on medication form.
- If medication is prescribed by a doctor the doctor must sign the paperwork.
- Medication must be brought to school the morning of camp from home. The medication checked into the school nurse will not be checked out to teachers or brought to camp.
- The medication must be sent in the original labeled container.
- Put the original labeled medication container into a ziplock bag labeled with the student's name, teacher's name and school name.
- The medication CANNOT be in the students luggage, it must be given to the teacher the morning we leave to take to camp.
- NO. Students are to be unplugged. They are not allowed to bring any electronic device.
- Devices found by camp counselors will be given to their teacher.
- Sorry, no you cannot. It helps for students to not miss home and become homesick if they do not call home.
- You will be able to contact your students teacher and the teachers may be posting periodic updates on the activities going on at camp.
- The person that you want to pick up your child must be on their emergency card.
- We cannot accept a phone call authorization.
- Sleeping bags and pillows should be put into a large trash bag labeled with student's name.
- Please put an extra labeled trash bag in the students luggage for the return trip, as they tear them open when they get to camp.
- Students belongings should be packed in a small suitcase or duffel bag.

- Yes. Your child must still attend school, they will be counted at truant if they do not attend school.
- We have a week of fun activities planned for the students that do not attend camp.
- There are many different reasons why students do not attend camp, so we want to make it fun for those students as well.
- NO! Your child can not go to camp with a fever!
- They may attend camp if they are fever free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication to reduce the fever.
- No, the money from the fundraisers pay for the buses for us to get to camp, Knott's and any end of the school year activities. We have not yet found a fundraiser that will cover the cost of camp, about $65,000.
